Thanks Frank.
I have been able to get it from a 50' car to a 15' car with some elbow grease.

Dave, Photobucket doesn't let you post pics to forums anymore.Sad There are some free photo hosting sites that do though. Imgur is one. https://imgur.com/

I'm using Chrome and I can see all the pix. IIRC, I downloaded fixes for both Chrome and FF.

One of my friends bought a new red 1968 Torino while he was in the Air Force--428, four speed, 3.90 gears. That thing was scary fast at the time. He had problems keeping valve guides in it but it was a nice car!

When I was in Arizona in the AF one of my buddies had a 428 CJ 68 Torino. He totaled it racing on Base Line road, rolled it and hit a pole. He transplanted the whole drivetrain into a 54 Ford two door wagon. He did so in the Base hobby shop. He drove it out the hobby shop gate, the throttle stuck wide open, and it went through the side of a services building. APs came, he had no registration for it, no base sticker, and no driver's licence. The Air Force confiscated it, he never got it back, he was reduced one rank, and confined to base for a month.

A friend I worked with bought a Torino Fastback new in 69, but his had a 390 4 speed, was Lime Gold with the side stripes. He just sold it this past year. He kept it up very nicely.
