That's a good point, never thought about that. I did find a broken temp sensor by the thermostat housing, replaced it, and it is running again. Not sure if it is still running rich.

Tried Franks tip today, got as far as removing the vacuum line, noticed tranny fluid dripping from it Mad

replaced to vacuum modulator, and no more smoke Exclamation

I played with my new flanger/punch, and fixed a little rust hole.
also filled in a couple bullet holes in the cowl.

Thanks for the attaboy. I spent 4 months at USAF Tech School, Amarillo AFB, Tx in 1966. The folks in Amarillo, Borger, and Pampa are some of the nicest in the world.
